What Our Guests Are Saying

My boyfriend and I stayed in the deluxe treehouse which was amazing, gorgeous, clean, and magical! We loved waking up to the sound of birds and wildlife every morning. When we first arrived, Diego helped us to our room and was so friendly and informative. We loved having breakfast every day at the restaurant onsite with Jimmy as our server and also went one night for dinner. All of the food was delicious and tasted so fresh. We got tilapia and ribs one night, and it was our favorite meal of the trip. During our stay, we did both tours that they offer on site-- the organic farming tour and the night walk tour. Both were led by Jimmy who is extremely knowledgeable about all the plants and animals on site. The organic farm tour allowed us to learn more about the farm, collect produce, and cook it at the end with Luis. During the night walk tour, Jimmy helped us find frogs, toads, salamanders, a snake, and even a tarantula! We were not expecting to have so many activities right on site and it was such a pleasure staying here.

Absolutely amazing place. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! Starting from arrival, it’s well-marked on the road, so finding it is no trouble (not always the case in Costa Rica). The staff is incredibly friendly. After checking us in, they drove us and our luggage to our bungalow in a golf cart, giving us a tour of the property on the way. Our bungalow was amazing, with such a beautiful view. It was also furnished with coffee, snacks, and water, along with real coffee mugs, cups, and wine glasses—which we used to drink a bottle on our amazing balcony. The resort was quiet, with space in between bungalows. They have walking trails through the jungle available on property—though we were warned not to go after dark. On our initial tour we also saw the ponds where they farm their own fish and shrimp and the gardens where most of their herbs and vegetables come from. The staff member pointed out some local birds and the best places to see hummingbirds on property. The grounds on the property, in general, were beautiful and so well-kept.

Such a special property! Great experience for our family (3 teenagers) We stayed in the deluxe bungalow and it was so lovely. Hammocks out on the deck and very secluded at the hummingbird bungalow. The whole property is beautiful. They have walking paths through the manicured jungle they’ve created to your bungalow or tree house, the pool, the hot springs, and the restaurant. The restaurant on the property is sooo good! Everything we ate was so good and we ate there for breakfast and dinner every night. It is a 20 min-30 min drive to most of the adventures we did: ziplining, canyoning, white water rafting. The owner and his son were so kind. We loved getting to know them and really loved their property! Would be such a cool spot for a destination wedding. They have a beautiful gazebo area!

We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was excellent along with the service. There is a pond next to the restaurant where you can see the fish, ducks and wildlife. The owner visited with us and was very friendly. It is a family affair each son works in a different area. The breakfast was included and was very nice. The gardens are beautiful as well as the vegetable garden they have on site. We would recommend this hotel.

Our first day in Costa Rica had its challenges, but upon arriving at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the kindness and assistance of the staff. Despite our initial fatigue, we quickly enjoyed the magnificent pool, private jungle trek, and relaxing on-location hot springs. Even with our 7-year-old daughter in tow, we felt secure thanks to the safe environment provided by the hotel. Thanks to them, we were able to shake off the travel fatigue and truly start enjoying our holiday.
