Our Story
Our journey began years ago. Grandfather Omar found a secluded property in the small town of San Isidro. Seeing the potential of this lush jungle, he built his own home. This was the start of what would become our stunning lodge.
Omar’s Vision
Omar, a carpenter, had a vision to build something truly extraordinary. He did just that. Our first and most premier room, the deluxe treehouse, was his creation. Built twenty feet up in a seventy-year-old mango tree, it set the standard for what was to come. Since then, we’ve grown, adding seventeen more cabins. Each one uses the same high-quality hardwood and glass that Omar used in his home.
Our Goal
We’ve always wanted to share the incredible beauty of our home with the world. At the same time, we respect and celebrate the jungle that brought us here. At Heliconias Nature Inn, you’re surrounded by nature. Whether you’re on your private balcony, in our thermal pools, exploring our organic farm, or dining in our open-air restaurant, you’ll be immersed in natural beauty.
